I’m Thania Martínez, the photographer behind Thania Auri Photography. I’m based in Puerto Rico and have spent years photographing weddings, couples, families, quinceañeras, and everything in between.


What I love most is taking real people and real moments and turning them into something that feels a little more magical. Dreamy light, soft emotion, closeness, movement, and the little details that make a memory feel almost larger than life are what I’m naturally drawn to.


Whether I’m photographing a wedding, a couple, a portrait, or a family, I want the images to feel warm, romantic, ethereal, and full of the kind of emotion you’ll want to come back to years from now.

 


EXPERIENCE BEHIND THE CAMERA


I’ve spent more than a decade behind the camera, photographing hundreds of clients across weddings, couples, families, quinceañeras, portraits, and events.


Over the years, I’ve photographed more than 100 weddings and documented hundreds of stories across Puerto Rico and beyond. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Photography from Universidad del Sagrado Corazón, and that combination of education and hands-on experience has shaped the way I work today: calm, prepared, observant, and always focused on the people in front of me.

I’m a nerd at heart and endlessly curious. I love hiking, traveling, concerts, video games, horror movies, medieval history, and anything involving space and the stars. I’m also very easily entertained by weird little moments, like finding a decorative skeleton in Salem and immediately deciding we needed to gossip together.


A lot of those interests find their way back into my work, especially my love for fantasy, history, dramatic landscapes, and old-world romance.
